Starsign Creations: Terms and Conditions

By using our website, social media platforms, and/or placing an order for goods, you confirm your agreement to the following Terms and Conditions of Starsign Creations:

1. Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • All designs, artwork, and stationery created by Starsign Creations remain the sole copyright of Starsign Creations. All rights are reserved.
  • Any unauthorised reproduction, resale, or copying of Starsign Creations’ designs or products is strictly prohibited.
  • Third-Party Designs: Starsign Creations respects the intellectual property of others. We cannot replicate designs, ideas, or works from other designers without express written copyright permission. By submitting imagery or ideas, you indemnify Starsign Creations against any legal action resulting from copyright infringement.

2. The Handmade Nature of Our Products

  • All our products are finished to a high standard. However, as they are handmade, slight variations may occur from product to product. This is a characteristic of handmade items and is not deemed a fault.
  • Substitutions: Starsign Creations reserves the right to substitute a design element (e.g., ribbon, cardstock, embellishments) with a suitable alternative of equal quality should a specific item become discontinued or unavailable from our suppliers.

3. Colour & Printing

  • Screen vs. Print: Please be aware that colours displayed on screens (computers/phones) differ from printed colours. Additionally, slight colour variations may occur between print runs or different print machines.
  • While we strive to represent our products as accurately as possible, any such variations in colour will not be considered a fault and will not result in a refund, reprint, or return.

4. Proofing & Liability (Crucial - Please Read)

  • Client Responsibility: All text and details for your order must be supplied to us in writing. Starsign Creations is not responsible for spelling errors, typos, or incorrect details provided by the buyer.
  • Approval: Electronic proofs will be provided for you to check the design, wording, and layout. You are solely responsible for checking these proofs thoroughly.
  • Sign-off: Once you confirm your final approval (via email or WhatsApp) and production/printing has commenced, no further changes can be made. Starsign Creations is not liable for any errors found after the final proof has been approved. Reprints required due to buyer oversight will be charged in full.

5. Payment, Cancellation & Samples

  • Deposit: To confirm your order, a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total purchase price is required within 7 days of the quotation date.
  • Cancellation: If you cancel your event or order after printing/production has commenced, you are liable for the full cost of the order.
  • Samples: All physical samples provided for viewing remain the property of Starsign Creations and must be returned in their original condition after viewing.

6. Delivery

  • Prices quoted do not include delivery or postage costs unless otherwise stated.
  • Delivery costs are payable by the Buyer and are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
  • Starsign Creations ensures packages are wrapped securely; however, we cannot be held responsible for delays or damage caused by the courier or postal service once the package has left our premises.

7. Marketing & Privacy

  • Marketing: We reserve the right to use photographs and physical copies of your stationery for our marketing materials (website, social media, brochures, and exhibitions). If you wish for personal details (such as addresses) to be obscured in these photos, please inform us in writing.
  • Privacy: Your contact details are confidential. We will not share your personal information with any third parties without your express permission, except where necessary for delivery purposes (e.g., providing your address to a courier).
